Imagine living and working in a place you love! Every day I am reminded how fortunate I am to live and work on beautiful Whidbey Island. I am also often asked why I chose Whidbey as my home in 2012 for re-location for my husband and myself. There are many reasons, but the clincher for me was Coupeville’s small town feel and sense of community. Equally important was Ebey’s Reserve, which was designed to halt growth. If you combine the weather, beaches, forest and native wildlife, what is not to love? So many special features such as the farmers markets and fantastic dining venues don’t hurt either.
Yes, I work as a realtor, but as they say “If you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life!” My husband and I researched many different locales before choosing Whidbey. It is this extensive research, combined with industry know-how, that I share with my clients.
When selling your home, first impressions are critical! Staging (which I provide as a free service), high quality photos and top notch represen-tation including virtual tours are vital to getting the best visibility possible. Being a local Agent and knowing the in’s an out’s of our special island also protects my sellers and provides their home with attention not shared with off island agents.
For my buyers, I strive to be knowledgeable about our entire island and the current market inventory. Fulfilling my buyers expectations on what “They” want in a house is key. That means listening to their needs, and paying close attention to all aspects of the market, active or not.
I enjoy selling and finding unique, specialized properties, even acreage for horses or animals.
My most rewarding clients are my aged ones and their families! Moving a parent or loved one out of the security of their home can be
challenging. Being an advocate and respecting this time in their lives is critical. My network of contacts can assist with preparing the house and contents to help lessen the burden.
I strongly believe in being hands-on and supporting my community first and foremost. Being a Coupeville Chamber member, I have many
opportunities to impact others in a positive way through my volunteer work. In the fall, I am very active with the “Haunting of Coupeville”
and the Scarecrow contest as well as other events throughout the year that showcase our special community.
One of the most rewarding and challenging endeavors, was my previous volunteer work in California with an overpopulated animal shelter. That experience changed my life forever and I continue to educate people about unwanted pets and love to share my 4, now 3 special adopted “fur babies” with everyone I meet.
I welcome the opportunity to assist you in finding your perfect Whidbey Island treasure and pride myself in being there after the deal.
No matter how big or small, I would be honored to assist any client and be the “Key to Your Best Move”!
